Here is the story behind the statue(copy is included with statue) His name is: ileh tanasul …. Legend has it that when Ileh Tanasul’s people went to war in a distant land they left him behind as guardian of the women and children since he had only one-arm and could not go to fight. It was 4 years before the army returned and they were furious to find that Ileh Tanasul had impregnated most of the women in the village and they had borne him children. In a rage the men seized Ileh Tanasul and were on the point of killing him when Ileh Tanasul asked if he could say anything to say in his defence prior to his execution. When allowed to speak he informed his compatriots that he had thought them killed in battle and his intention was to rebuild an army to avenge their deaths. These words saved his life and Ileh Tanasul was subsequently revered as the god of fertility.
